POLYFIX –  Odour neutraliser

Unpleasant odors are faced every day. We experience them on our skin, in our rooms, in public toilets or in farms. The discomfort associated with such odors leads to the need to eliminate them from the environment.

A number of products available on the market contain fragrance compositions whose main function is to mask unpleasant odors. Unfortunately, over time, the fragrance composition evaporates and the unpleasant smell returns.
Our partner Schill&Seilacher has developed an ingredient based on activated zinc ricinoleate - Polyfix®.

Thanks to its activation with a chelating compound, Polyfix® is highly effective against odors. The mechanism of action is based on the formation of a stable odorless complex between zinc ricinoleate and the odor substance.

Polyfix®ZRC is water soluble and does not require heating. The product can be used in surfactant-free formulations. Polyfix® ZRC is compatible with most fragrances, anionic and non-ionic surfactants.
Three types of raw materials are offered, differing in the concentration of zinc complex and chelating agent, allowing the best possible choice of raw material for a given formulation.
